Daron Crothers

DCPI World Zone Leader, Asia South East Pacific & Senior Master Trainer

Daron is married to Mel. As the World Zone Leader for ASEP he networks and coordinates to provide effective church planting training for thousands of leaders throughout the world zone that spans 41 nations. He also serves as the founding pastor of Lifestreams Karawara, which together with his wife Mel, they launched in 2012. Since that time, they have planted and mobilised 7 new churches in Perth. He serves as the Team Leader for the Lifestreams Global Family, the Church Planting Movement of Lifestreams (372 churches in 7 nations). Since 2009, Daron has enjoyed training thousands of leaders in church planting in Australia and internationally. Professional musician who plays saxophone.

Mel Crothers

DCPI Asia South East Pacific Creative Director

Mel is married to Daron. Mel serves as our Creative Director for DCPI ASEP. in 2013, Mel spent close to the next decade as an itinerant worship leader and recording artist, sharing in many churches nationally and overseas. She has recorded three albums and several EPs. Currently, serves as the Campus Pastor of Lifestreams Bull Creek, a replant out of Lifestreams South Perth. Mel also serves as a leader for the Lifestreams Global Family, the Church Planting Movement of Lifestreams (372 churches in 7 nations).

John Bond

DCPI Global Ambassador

John was the DCPI ASEP world zone leader from 2008-2022 where he passed the baton on to Daron Crothers. John now serves as the DCPI Global Ambassador and has 50 years of ministry experience with his passion having grown from evangelistic pastoral ministry into an apostolic ministry with a special focus on discipling Church Planting Movement leaders. His ministry has taken him to 750+ churches of most denominations and 100’s of Christian organisations in 40+ nations. Married to Julie for over 50 years, they have three children and their spouses, six grandchildren and is passionate about any sport with a ball. His hobby is he’s a closet chef.

Jeffrey Smith

DCPI ASEP NexGen Team Leader

Jeffrey is a pastor, missionary, and entrepreneur who has served in the Philippines for over 20 years alongside his wife Lydia and their children. He is the Founding Pastor of a local church reaching marginalized families with the Gospel. Jeffrey has traveled to over 30 countries for missions, leadership training, and church development. Since 2012, he has partnered with DCPI to open new nations for church planting, train thousands of leaders and assist in translation efforts across multiple languages. As the NexGen Challenge leader for ASEP, he is passionate about raising up the next generation. Currently learning to play the flute, Jeffrey uses creative ministry tools to help youth come out of darkness and fall in love with Christ.

Nigel Darch

Regional Director for DCPI Pacific

Nigel is married to Margaret and is currently the Regional Director for the Pacific. He has been active training leaders and Church Planters in Australia and in the Pacific, particularly PNG since 1995. He is on the team at The River on the Gold Coast, where he planted in 2003. Joining DCPI in 2010, he has conducted numerous training events mobilising leaders throughout the Pacific Islands. The fruit in the Pacific is amazing, but with great challenges with so many tiny Islands spread across the vast region of ocean. Many Islands remain unopened in the DCPI context, but we plan on reaching them all through mobilising indigenous leaders. Nigel loves fishing and the great outdoors.

Chris Brown

Country Director for DCPI Australia

Chris is married to Rose. As the Australian Director for DCPI he works with like minded leaders and trainers to see Church Planting multiplied across Australia and the nations. Chris is particularly passionate about mobilising people through the vision of Church Planting and the equipping of the body of Christ. He leads Saving Grace Church, which he and his family planted in 2015, has been involved with 5 Church plants and ministered in over 20 nations. Chris has been involved with missions since 1994, trained thousands of church planters and has been involved at a Presidential level in Africa working to see reconciliation of tribal conflict and people won to Christ. He is a professional photographer and videographer.

Alfred Biplob Biswas

DCPI South Asia Regional Director

Alfred is married to Cicilia and have two sons. He started DCPI in Bangladesh in 2007 and was appointed as the DCPI South Asian Regional Director. He also opened DCPI in Bhutan and in Sri Lanka. Alfred planted 13 churches in Bangladesh and 2 in the USA. He currently serves as the Founding Senior Pastor of First Bangla Baptist Church, Oklahoma, USA since 2018. He is also the Founder and President for Smyrna Global Ministries, USA; Smyrna House of Prayer Church, Bangladesh; Smyrna Development Society, Bangladesh and the North American Network of Bengali Churches.

Miriam & EJ Bongolan

Team Leaders DCPI Central office
of the Philippines

Edwin and Miriam Bongolan are missionaries under ACTION, Philippines. They are the resident managers of the Christian youth conference center Rizal Re-Creation Center. As members of DCPI ASEP Philippine Central Office they assist in coordinating research projects and training strategies for DCPI Philippines and host the Bi-Annual ASEP Summit and Annual Training Week. They work closely with their first church plant Pauli 2 Christian Fellowship established in 2019. Miriam is an Abuse and Trauma trainer and response consultant and Edwin serves the men in their town through a variety of ministries. They are both avid Star Wars fans and have seven children.

Ingrid Mitchell

DCPI ASEP Administrator

Ingrid Mitchell has enjoyed serving DCPI Central since 2022 in coordinating training reports with the Philippine Master Trainers. She and her husband Brett Mitchell have two children and have been working in church planting for 12 years under Christian Churches. In addition to her work with headquarters, Ingrid also works for DCPI ASEP as an administrator overseeing all of our trainers, strategic planning and coordination of annual events. Ingrid enjoys a variety of hobbies including sewing and board games.

Albert Mitra

Administrator for DCPI Central Office of the Philippines

Albert Mitra has served the DCPI ASEP Annual Training Week and Summit for the past six years. As a member of DCPI Philippines Central Office and employee of Rizal Re-Creation Center he also manages all the Philippine Field office communication and assists with research and planning. Albert enjoys singing and leads worship for DCPI events, RRC services, and camps.

A Lew

DCPI ASEP Online Training Leader

A Lew (photo withheld) directs our DCPI Online Training across Asia South East Pacific. He was born in America and worked as a high school science teacher until God called him to move to Asia - 26 years ago. He has a Masters In Education from the University of Washington and a Masters of Divinity from Singapore Bible College. His passion is the disciplemaking and church planting and has served in China and Singapore and has been living Indonesia for the past 7 years. He is happily married to Wong Yu Min and has three children.
